You know folks, Jonah and the big fish was a great story in the bible.
The story begins with God asking Jonah to go to the city of Nineveh as God saw the evil things they are doing there. God wanted them to turn away from the evil things they are doing so He sent Jonah.
But Jonah didn't want to obey God so he went on a boat sailing to the opposite direction of where Nineveh is.
On the sea, the boat that Jonah was in encountered a storm. The sailors threw Jonah overboard and the storm calmed down.
Then a big fish came along and swallowed Jonah for 3days and 3 nights.
Jonah prayed to God for help in the tummy of the big fish. God heard Jonah's prayers and got the big fish to spit out Jonah out.
And off Jonah went to the people of Nineveh with the message from God.
The people of Nineveh was saved.
This story teaches me the loving heart of God and that He doesn't want to see His people destroyed.
